I prefer restricting the number of devices that can connect to Internet via my router at home. The restriction is imposed based on the MAC address of the device. The router rules are configured such that it blocks all devices expect the ones that are explicitly allowed.
To access Internet on my Nokia 5800 mobile phone via the Wi-Fi router, I had to identify its MAC address and add it to the allowed list in the router configuration. After a bit of research, I found two methods of achieving this.
The simplest way to obtain the MAC address of your Nokia 5800 mobile phone is to dial – *#62209526# (which is a mnemonic for – *#MAC WLAN#).
The output would be something as portrayed below.

The MAC address is also printed on the label pasted under the battery.
